Katie's dead. She's gone. She didn't show up for work. I figured
she was just hung over from her night out last night. But then she just didn't
show up to Nadine’s first communion and that's not like her. She wouldn't miss
this. I heard police sirens after Nadine's first communion. I had a really bad
feeling so I followed them to Penn Park. Sean was there, ya know, my old buddy.
Well he's a detective now. They found Katie's car out in front of that kid
Harris’ house. She wasn’t there. I asked to speak to Sean. He came and talked
to me, said they didn’t find a body yet, but I would be notified if they found
anything to do with Katie. He was called away. I was sick of waiting. I had to
know if it was my daughter. I had to know. My brother in law, Val and I stormed
in. They found her, Katie. Dead. Thrown away like a piece of trash. My Katie,
Dead. I can’t believe it. And not just dead, murdered. She was shot and beaten.
Who was do this to my Katie? Katie was nice to everyone and everyone loved her.
She never hurt anyone. Whoever did this to her is going to pay.
